HOUSEKEEPING

Cleaning for the building is performed by a national janitorial contractor under rigid specifications and the supervision of Building Management. Housekeeping inspections are performed on a weekly basis guaranteeing that every floor in the building is inspected once per quarter. All contract personnel are bonded, in uniform and meet strict requirements for employment. Good housekeeping is an important part of our tenant services and suggestions for improvement are always welcome. Services are performed five nights per week on the following basis:

Daily Services Include:

  • Vacuuming common area carpets, including reception areas and conference rooms
  • Dusting horizontal surfaces
  • Sweeping and mopping tile, marble and wood floors
  • Emptying and changing liners as needed in waste baskets and recycling receptacles
  • Restocking paper products and soap in restrooms
  • Cleaning kitchen counter tops and sinks
  • Cleaning restroom fixtures, wall tile, floors and mirrors

Weekly Services Include:

  • Dusting high reach areas
  • Edge vacuuming all carpeted areas
  • Detail vacuuming all carpeted office areas
  • Buffing wooden or tile floors as needed

Between the hours of 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, day matrons and porters perform cleaning services which include

  • Checking stock and cleanliness of restrooms, showers and break-rooms
  • Policing exterior trash receptacles
  • Vacuuming carpets and mats on Lobby levels
  • Cleaning interior glass surfaces on Lobby levels
