The LYNX Blue Line offers light-rail service to fifteen stations, which include seven Park and Ride locations between Uptown Charlotte and I-485 at South Blvd. Dozens of bus routes are timed to connect with the light rail at the Blue Line Stations. The trains operate seven days a week from approximately 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM. On the weekdays, service is available every ten minutes during peak hours (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM). On the weekends, the Blue Line will generally operate every twenty minutes during the day (every fifteen minutes on Saturdays) and approximately every thirty minutes during the early morning and late night hours.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) provides convenient transportation options including more than 40 routes and multiple bus stops located within a short walk of Duke Energy Center. More than thirty local routes provide the flexibility of numerous stops within the city, with most operating from 4:49 AM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Saturday, and 5:25 AM to 2:00 AM on Sundays. Twelve express routes provide quick transportation, with minimal stops, from the suburbs to the uptown area.

The Gold Rush is a free shuttle service offered through Charlotte Center City Partners and the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). The shuttle serves many of Charlotte's Uptown parking facilities - including the Preferred Parking lots referenced earlier. Please visit www.charlottecentercity.org.
